The Proxy Module & authProxy machine must be listed in Internet Explorer's
Local Internet security zone for all computers using it in
order to function properly. If it is not in the
Local Internet, then credentials will not be automatically
provided. Even if the credentials are entered manually, the Proxy
Module cannot authenticate with results when not listed in Internet
Explorer's Local Internet.
If the Proxy Module machine is already in the Local Internet
settings, you may skip this step.
The following steps adds the Proxy Module machine to Internet
Explorer's Local Internet:
Tools from the menu, and select
Internet Options.Security tab.Local Internet from the list of zones.Sites button to edit the local internet.Advanced to manually add a site.proxyMachine.example.com.Add to add the site to the Trusted Sites.Close to close the Advanced window.OK to close the Local Intranet window.OK to close the Internet Options window.
Internet Explorer is now configured to pass credentials to the proxy machine. This is a per-user configuration, and will need to be configured for any user that is authenticating via the Proxy Module.
